The company was established and started its contracting activity in 1970, giving it 56 years of experience. It is a limited partnership with a capital of EGP 50 million.
What types of projects does Safwa build?
Banks and financial institutions, courts and government buildings, corporate headquarters, airport terminals, pharmaceutical and industrial plants, universities, malls, sports clubs, hotels and residential buildings. Examples include the Central Bank of Egypt branch in Assiut, Cairo Airport Departure Terminal 1 and the Vodafone building in Smart Village.
Which services does the company provide?
General contracting and new construction, architectural finishing and fit-out, electromechanical works (air-conditioning, firefighting, security, power and light-current systems), renovation and expansion, construction management, engineering consultancy and building maintenance.
Does Safwa have its own factories and equipment?
Yes. The company owns concrete batching plants in Abu Rawash and Katameya, a carpentry factory, an industrial complex for metal and aluminium works, 62% of El-Safwa for Marble & Granite, and a fleet that includes 30 loaders, 20 concrete mixers, 3 tower cranes, 12 winches and 12 heavy vehicles.

How does the company finance its projects?
Safwa relies on its own resources to finance its projects, so it is not obliged to assign its operations to others or enter partnerships. Specialised works are entrusted only to subcontractors registered with the company and approved by the owner and the project consultant.

Yes — the company operates a quality management system certified to ISO 9001.
